Quiet temples or calm spots in Sasang-gu?

チームのヒント Travel Busan チーム · 11/1

Honestly, Sasang-gu isn't temple country. There's no big temple I'd send you to here, so if a temple is the main goal, plan that for another part of Busan. For a quiet hour in this district, though, Gamjeon Wildflower Garden (15-05) is the calm spot I'd pick. It's a low-key garden, good for a slow walk in November when things are turning. Getting there is a bit of a trip: take Exit 2 at Gamjeon Station on Metro Line 2, then transfer to Bus 138-1 and get off at Gamjeon-dong Floodgate. Check the bus times before you go. Afterward, keep it simple and eat nearby. Haemul Wangchang Kalguksu (15-18) is a good stop for a warm bowl of noodles on a cold day, and Halmae Jaecheopguk (15-10) is another local option if you want something hot and filling. So: no temple in Sasang-gu, but the wildflower garden plus a noodle lunch makes a nice quiet half-day. If you really want a temple, ask us again and we'll point you to another district.
